Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

Hello everyone, something terrible happened to me and I would be happy if someone could help me.
I did not have a space on my phone so I deleted a few things (I have galaxy s6) and mistakenly I deleted one of Google's apps and now I can not log in to YUGIOH and I have my duelist ID and my google play remembers all my data. But for some reason the YUGIOH app does not let me in the game and I'm really afraid I will not be able to play agin.

Once again no new ideas just the same recycled rubbish no one asked for Konami are letting down this community with not giving us more features and ways to add value like a card trading system everyone has been asking for on those surveys they ask you very disappointing and not worth investing any money until things start to change

Arkana only dueled once, Bonz and Espa Roba only dueled twice each. Tristan never dueled in the manga, and dueled only once in anime.....and lost the duel.

As for Blair, they just have to release her cards first in OCG/TCG, like how they finally released Orgoth and Summon Dice for Duke.

DM already have 22 characters it's enough, they should more focused to bring characters from other series instead keep releasing irrelevant DM characters that will give you useless skills and cards.

if i remember correctly (been a long time since ive seen the show) in season 5 joey battles yugis grandpa and he has some really nice cards. Would love it if they added him

To be honest ... The last two events (Tardy Syrus and Jesse Anderson Refarm) has been absolute GARBAGE. Let's be honest, the Syrus event was a joke. Here's let us give you a main character from the DX series and then nerf the hell out him by not releasing any of his key cards. No Power Bond, none of his other more powerful Vehicroid fusion, and having Pair Cycloid not work with De-fusion ... GOOD JOB, KONAMI.

And then the Jesse event, another grind event where the one card you want has the drop rate for his new card (RARE VALUE) for F2P players of ½%, and for P2W players of 5%. GOOD JOB, KONAMI !!!!

For an archetype (Crystal Beasts) that are cumbersome to use and the boss monster (Rainbow Dragon) that is nearly impossible to summon in an actual duel.

Yet duelist like Ishizu, Odion, Bastion, and others languish without any of their key cards being available in game.

Imagine, if Necrovalley was available in game and not a Ultra Rare drop ability. Sylvans WOULD LITERALLY BE DEAD IN THE GAME.

Moreover, repeating events every 2 weeks defeats the special sense you get when a new duelist becomes available. So, before 5D's Duel Links comes out ... Let's fixed what we have first Konami.

Mondays, Am I Right?

Here's why I think Noah and Marik will be unlockable, despite a certain user's snarky responses. If Tristan can be added with cards that he never even dueled with, then Marik could have the same thing. MARIK never really dueled in the series, as his Yami side did all the dueling, but couldn't it be entirely possible that we could assign an archetype to him? Now Noah is a bit more complicated. Noah's main card is already unlockable within one of the boxes. But, there's that "spirit-monster" archetype, which has potential to make a great deck for Noah. Just think about it. Why should Tristan get cards he's never dueled with, yet have voice lines for them as well, and not Noah, or Marik? Case in point.

Marik dueled Yami Yugi through Strings. All in his head without having to even really be there. In the manga, he was even able to concentrate on that duel while he was on his motorcycle, and that does not sound easy. He built that Slifer deck and his Battle City final one, although Yami Marik altered it. Marik also got his butt kicked in duels by Ishizu while they were still kids underground.
