Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

Only issue is, Axel Brodie's cards are already available in a big box, with his ace card being the UR of that box.

Unless Konami revealed a lot of brand new "Volcanic" cards, or give him "The Blazing Mars" as his ace instead, it is sadly unlikely that we'll get him in DL.

And even "The Blazing Mars" is a complicated matter, as in the manga it was only used when he was possessed.

I WISH THE BEST FOR DUEL LINKS, IF THEY EVER RELEASE 5D, THEN I CAN ONLY WISH THEM SUCCESS... however, hope they keep in mind card games on motorcyles xddd are... y'know... way too silly and dumb for this western world. XD !

Agree with anon below, i rather have 5ds earlier than suffer with gx. Maybe 5ds rewards will not really difference than gx, but at least they offer new gameplay

HOPE THEY NEVER RELEASE A TRADING OPTION.
Because knowing how this western world we live in is, it's obvious there's going to be hacking, cheating, scamming, exploits, etc.
However... I still have faith in the world, if you change, everyone changes :)
