Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

I play ranked only for the gems(rewards) and only on the lower end(silver/gold). Else I dislike PvP.

Setting KoG as your goal mean a lot of winning needed.

I am kind of like that, too. I will get to Legend now each month and then just not worry about getting KOG and enjoy the duels there. The farthest I've ever gotten is Legend 2 since it is hard to keep winning consecutively.

You can definitely reach KoG if you set your mind to it. I think it's mostly a matter of mindset, wherein you think ahead that it is difficult. Nothing wrong with staying in Legend though, just putting it out there.

Late August and September updates: more nerfs to gems, this time we will get only 50 gems by reaching DMAX in the KC cup and 20 gems for other Dlevels. Probably we will get no more gems for box celebration campaign and we will already have the 14th main box with some top tier decks. In September when 5ds world will come we will get no more than 300 gems compared with the 2000 gems obtained when gx world began
Oh and the lv up gems rewards of the 5ds characters will be reduced again (100 gems for lv 28, 32,37 and 43 and 150 gems for lv 29, 34, 39, 44)
And together with 5ds will be introduced two or three structure decks EX

Obtainable skill- destiny survivor 2.Seto Kaiba- rewards- blue-eyes twin burst dragon, obelisk the tormentor, ring of destruction, shrink, crush card virus, different dimension dragon, blue-eyes alternative dragon, blue eyes solid dragon, neo blue-eyes ultimate dragon, shadow spell, monster reborn. Obtainable skill- advent of the blue-eyes

Only events I'm looking forward to is Serious Chazz and the Yubel event. The Duel-a-thon is going to be let down with the gem issues, Tristan already showed up and it was a useless event. Not a Duke Devlin fan. KC Cup is a tilt fest and the Yami Marik gate is good nonetheless. Hoping for a Judai Yuki event or a Supreme King event with the alternate art of the E-Heroes.

It would be nice to have a Jaden event, more E-Heroes cards and supports. We never had an alternate version of Kaiba or Yami Yugi to give us some different rewards that they used throughout the series. I wonder when they will add to the gate the alternate version of the LDs.
