Yo I use harpies hunting ground to destroy this but it won’t trigger the effect. Any reason why?

If you've already activated it to fetch a copy of Elegant Egotist in that turn, you can't trigger the destruction effect to get more Harpies. It won't work.

You'd have to either destroy it instead of activating the first effect OR activate and destroy the Sign in different turns.

Nvm I gotta reread it again.

Can't use both effects in the same turn.

WTF Konami? Why don't you put a banlist on this archetype? Not even one of their card get a limited, it's so unfair. They can otk you easily, can control your field, and they can draw so many card.

what is wrong with you people, this card is so unfair to play against. there literally just isn’y anyway to deal with it unless you speficially tech anti-graveyard cards, and in the current meta those just don’t really exist in a viable way. Casually drawing 4 cards off of one card that you can still use as discard fodder is insane and really unfair. I don’t get it, how could for one second anyone delude themself into thinking this card is fair

This card is unfair only against lowly F2P like you.

This spell is a decently made and designed card because it's not as strong as some other UR and SR.

I agree, people really try to explain how this card is “balanced”, but a draw 4 card with zero downside is just downright broken. I’d be fine if it had to be sent from the field to the GY, but the fact that it can be discarded from the hand as the cost for other cards is dumb. Makes the white stone of ancients + consonance combo look bad in comparison.

Ever since harpies gain new support, I never saw anyone use this.
Yeah its good at how it is casually add 3 different harpie card, but looking how harpie is being played I believe this is NOT something that make harpie a top tier deck as of now. You don't want konami limit something that barely affecting the deck itself.

Yeah, not as strong as Ur or Sr, but see, harpies have so many searchers or their deck, and I said they have so many searchers. They have perfumer that can easily search spell, channeler that can special summon from deck, not to mention there's harpie feather rest that can give you +1. Well, P2W player like you can't see a how good a cards can be becau you can only rely on your UR/SR staple alone.

When i destroy this card with harpies hunting ground sometimes it's effect activates in the end phase and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone know why? Thank you

can someone tell me if it realistic to get new harpie support anytime soon? I've read that this wont happen till Zexal world comes but that would be in 1 year..

I doubt Hysteric Sign will happen any time soon. But I could see us getting cards like Harpie Oracle, Harpie Channeler or Harpie Lady Elegance.

I doubt they'd hold off just because of Pet Phantasmal Dragon (especially since they can easily promote the Sisters builds of the deck in the meantime).

Harpies are primarily an Xyz focused archetype, most of us don’t expect them to get their best support till Zexal world comes eventually

I wouldn't call them Xyz-focused. Regardless, none of their support is Xyz-based aside from one monster that happens to be an Xyz.

I'm surprised we haven't gotten Harpie Channeler or Oracle yet, but eh. None of the support they're missing would make a massive difference aside from Hysteric Sign and Feather Storm, which I doubt will happen for a long time. I guess Mirror Split or Elegance could.
