Anti meta meta is a thing. It means that an anti meta is so good at hard countering decks, that it even counters anti meta. These decks are 99 percent control decks since they have to deal with such a large spectrum, and CC is definitely control based. Boiled down, anti meta meta just means its the best at countering the best and its own competition for the title.
GK not anymore Tier 1, it can be countered with a Swarm deck with 3x Econ (+ with Mako hammershark), it lacks backrow support unlike other decks.
However GK is Very consistent, good and fast tho, it can take out rouge decks with ease as opposed to other decks, maybe Tier 1.5. Tier 2 is hardcore already tho
Yeah, the meta really hasn't changed. Now anti meta, that's a different story. Clown control is getting more popular than 3 star anti because its so powerful in control and so varied in builds, plus it is naturally dangerous to use things like winds and econ because you'll proc clown's effect. Since Ult rising is back for a while, I'm sure CC is going to get some serious representation

I build fun theme decks like red-eyes and blue-eyes. Thanks to super Joey I was HOPING to get more red-eyes cards but because they gave him (this is the only card that passes me off) KUNAI WITH CHAIN, BECAUSE NOW I ATTACK OH NO HIS MONSTER IS 2500 AND MINE IS DEF MODE, ITS COMPLETE BS. But my point being, you can have fun with different decks, blue-eyes is fun because turn 1 3K dragon is a bit annoying to destroy, and with red-eyes, turn one 3.5K beater is funnier. I dunno, play what you wanna play, except for clown control, anything but clown control.
Please. I'll take this CC any day over the OG's CC anti meta back in the early 2000s. It would create unbelievably long duels and you'd rarely see a full match because of the stall power. This is just control and removal focused at its most annoying
Habieboer than does the following play:
-SE his opponent monster leaving them with no monster on field.
-Brings out Beast of Talward
-He sets Michizure
-Equips Gravity Axe + Black Pendant.
His monster than has about 3500 or so attack.
-He does 1 massive hit.
Reducing his opponent life points down to about 500.
At this point the game is already over.
The reason why is because even if his opponent can kill or get rid of the Beast of Talwar.
The Black Pendant is still equipped to the monster.
Which means if Talwar dies or goes back to the hand I.E anything.
The Black Pendant will hit the grave dealing 500 damage to the opponent who is already that low.
Habieboer is declared the winner & the crowd goes wild!
Yes, Habieboer will reach KOG!
Yes, everyone knows soul exchange skips battle phase.
Does it look like Habieboer cares?
He will pass 1 turn to make his opponent sweat.
The threat still endure!
The play will still continue on his next turn.
Resulting in Habieboer as the winner!
V for Victory!
You guys should really recheck the meta, Gravekeepers, Relinquished, Harpies, and Last Gamble Dester Twister are the only T1 decks, Tea Burn, and Venus are to inconsistent, and statue control doesn't have enough early game to stabilize consistently
