Cons

You can only activate this card if you do not have any Trap cards in the graveyard.

Tips

It is best to run this card in a deck that doesn’t use any other Trap cards.
You cannot activate this card when you have another copy of it in the graveyard. What you can to is turn on self chain so that you can activate 2 of these at the same time, destroying all your opponent’s monster.

Use the effect of Diskblade Rider to remove from play Trap cards in your graveyard and gain an attack boost. Pot of Benevolence can return Trap cards back to your deck allowing you to reuse them.

Can someone explain to me why sometimes I can activate this card in response to an attempt to remove it, and sometimes not?

You only can activate it in response to card activation that TARGET it, cards like Geargiattacker and spellbook of fate doesn't target card so yon can only activate Treacherous Trap Hole when these cards are activated not after selecting the cards to destroy.

I always have a enemy controller to outplay this card. I literally won a match once because they activated it.
They had a stardust out as well as a face down monster and I was basically empty field summoning one monster at a time.
I managed to get my last crystal beast into gy. I suspected they had TTH set but I knew I had an econ set as well. I summoned Rainbow Dragon and they TTH'd like I expected targeting their facedown and rainbow. I chained econ to TTH by tributing Rainbow Dragon,ECON resolves first and takes control of Stardust, then TTH goes off destroying their facedown. I normal summon Amber elephant and swing with lethal.

Treacherous trap hole has severe limitations, decks with trap hole often have very little to none other trap cards. Block trap hole and you've got free access to attack anything in the coming turns. Sometimes I don't even block it, if it is just removes two lvl 4 monsters. They're either replaceable or revivable from the graveyard.

Yeah, I don't run it that much. Far more versatile options around, plus it's high risk if you come across graveyard heavy decks or effect monsters who love being destroyed.

Mirror force can buy enough time usually.

Mask change isn't the issue, there should be a limit on Anki.

Finally something is done about this dumb card. The only issue is that you only need two at the most and decks who aren’t affected by the limit list can still abuse it.

Heart of the cards baby.
Believe in your cards and they cards will answer to you as well. That's how you become a true duelist.

It sucks, I know. They should call this card top deck trap hole. But I guess it’s more lickley to happen in a game where you only have 20 cards in your deck. Not to mention that some scrubs are desperate enough to play more than one in their decks.

I saw a theory on YouTube that the cards closer to the front and back of the deck may be more likely to end up in the starting hand. Since it’s an SR care any UR trap cards will be in front of it in deck order. That may be the case. Not 100% sure though.

I don't think that's the case because I play masked heroes and this is the only trap in my deck. Let alone getting it in my opening hand, I didn't get to play this card in like 25 out of 30 duels.
