This card is actually a lot better than you'd think. You can search literally any other Blackwing if you summon this with Black Whirlwind out, plus it's some easy muscle.

I just got this ( glossy or prismatic Im not sure ) is this worth building a deck around? Or spend gems for. I play mainly casual and Im only familiair with yugioh normal ( i see synchro for the first time )

Yeah Blackwings will be really good in the near future once they get more support. Elphin is an important card for the deck.
