i learn from the past:
when konami release a new mechanic in this game they destroy old mechanic by releasing tech cards that can be used by anydeck, Link summoning they creat this card: dimensional barrier.
now they are doing the same thing to synchro: no support since xyz era, and here a free card that counter synchro. (buy our new product)

you are kind of right, but this is not the card that kills synchro. The new card that destroy syncro is the XYZ Roach. The only way to deal with it is raigeki break or karma cut (hope they dont have lance or book of moon). Anyway Blue Eyes is still a thing, and Antinomy is coming.
Also you can't say that fusion or ritual are destroyed, there are tons of broken cards that destroys XYZ also

Well this is just like "Heat Wave" but for Synchro. (I don't know if there's card alike but for XYZ, Link and pendulum)

If they ever release this card back when Synchro Summon Meta (the most played mechanic), it will impact the box sales, plus you can play both Heat Wave + Soundproofed + Balance
Totally no fun play

That’s kind of right but honestly how will be able play this anti synchro card in a competitive deck….

Harpies and resonators were big support for the synchro mechanic in xyz era
