Fiendish chain is a continuous trap card that can easily be removed or can clog your backrow.
Karma cut is only good in decks that can utilize discarding (bewd). And it is still a 2 for 1.
Book of moon is a card that can be used offensively, defensively, interrupt your opponent plays, plus is a quick play card, the best type of backrow card.
Is laughable to compare those 2 traps with bom.

Back when fiendish first appeared in the game disruption wasn't that good, Fiendish broke the game and made the whale vs no spender matchup unwinnable for non spender and was also a staple to win tournaments

It's not laughable to compare them it's unfair for fiendish

Who can assure us that in the future we'll not get something better than bom?

Except that no one is comparing which one is better but how broken they were at their prime in their own time span, karma and fiendish were can cerous and uninteractive basically pay to win cards. BoM is the same now while karma and fiendish aren't anymore.

At their best none of them should not be/have been allowed but well business is business and we all konami doesn't give a sh it about balance

murmur of the forest. Its not quick play and can only be used to the opponent, however. Still better than nothin IMO, as book of moon is premium card as of now.

If getting 1 single play interrupted is enough to make you surrender then there's no way to help you

But seriously keep playing duel it has happened to me dozens of time that players just drown themselves in backrow; draw->set 1->pass, they do that for like 5 turns and never get to draw a monster, I have to check later what deck they were playing (mostly trash decks being carried by backrow)

I didn't think this card would affect game balance but seriously when my opponent uses this card I always lose. My Harpie deck also s"ck without a single copy of this. Duel links is Pay to win game

This. Besides, it's kinda hard to compare the two when Econ also has another effect that BoM doesn't have.

In terms of changing battle position, sometimes Econ is actually better.

Particularly when targeting an enemy monster that has a "once only" or "when summoned" effect.

Not flipping the monster face-down means you won't let your opponent activate the monster's effect again.

Stop coping, Enemy Controller is on the popular list and even banlist, imagine thinking whales who plague the high ranks where the popular list is based on would not drop it for better paid cards... stop embarrassing yourself.

No problem. Thanks for making the game still viable for us by forking out £100 a box to Komoney for 2/3 copies of a single card and losing anyway cos you have a suboptimal deck alongside your book of moon.

I don't know why someone would use fiendish chain against a monster that is obviously gonna be used as a material instead of using it on the extra deck monster in question

^ that's the reason why fiendish sees less and less play, combos now apart from summoning your boss monster give you advantage like adding or drawing cards, even if you stop the combo then you gotta deal with the boss monster, if you stop the boss monster your opponent already gained card advantage and they'll probably are ready to pull of the combo again next turn while stalling you.

When your opponent summons an extra monster sometimes it's too late. I was waiting with the trap ready, toggle on, my opponent summons some Stellar monster and destroys all my traps before I could even activate anything. Just one example
