Actually this benefits LG storm in a certain situation where you has no monster on the field, opponent must destroy one of its monsters instead, clearing path for you... And since this card has a restrictive condition to be activated you cannot chain it to storm to avoid it.

I can see the reason this card is rare: Konami wants to counter HHG decks, that's all.

As a replace of E-con, nah... this is 1/4 of an e-con, only activable when opponent declares attack.

for my opinion this is risky to use if u got EC EC IS MORE USEFULL MANY WAYS NOT ALL UR ENEMY GOT HHG OR THAT TWISTER GAMBLE DECK

it just 1/2 wild tornado + 1/2 econ in which the former are better.Wild tornado has the same effect when sent to the graveyard but it allows you to destroy it yourself. Econ is better b/c it is a spell and it was a good 2nd effec

Oh! I didn't read the "by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card your OPPONENT controls" part. So this is actually a counter to Harpies and Storm Gamblers... Still, should be SR or even UR

This card seems extremely risky.

The sad part is I really don't have anything better.

I am going to have to risk it.

It's not yet very risky in Duel Links. As of now there are only 2 cards in Duel Links that can activate the second effect: A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon, and Stamping Destruction. No one runs the former, and the latter guarantees there's an opponent's monster to destroy rather than 1 of your own.

Correction: there's also Harpie's Feather Duster, but it requires your opponent to use an ability that requires 6 Harpie cards in the grave. So, no one runs that either

..and Twin-Barrel Dragon, which is barely used, and Lord British Space Fighter or Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan, but they're kinda situational

Only Spells/Traps, not monster effects.

Somehow I did forget the most common card though: Harpies' Hunting Ground. But like with Stamping Destruction, it means your opponent has a monster on the field, so it's fine.

An alternate econ that's cheap and counters HHG, neat. Basically a better version of negate attack from the tcg too :)

Don't forget your opponent also might target their own security orb to pop one of your monster

Excellent card for people with zero Econ and it only a R card to so should have no trouble getting 3 of this baby
