Only deck currently I can see this being useful is witchcrafters but then again they don't need a spell retrieval and don't normally summon 3 level 4 monsters easily.

Maybe Gravekeepers? But no use in there either because the 3 level 4s might be easily but gravekeeprs don't use that many spells other than necrovalley and there are much better ways to play a second necrovalley than retrieve from the graveyard.

My point is Konami always does This 🔥 to the spellcasters archetype. Release some random 🔥 card that you can’t even effectively play. There is no easy way to summon spellcasters first turn to make this a threat.

Not everything must be a first turn play.

This is clearly one of those cards that are meant for mid-late game.

You mean witchcrafter? One of the (many) reasons the deck flopped in ocg is because it can't swarm and has no extra deck play first turn + all their levels are different. Same here

Spellbook? Only run lvl 2 monsters and lvl 8 priestess, the same, no swarm capabilities. All other lvl 4 monsters don't do anything if you haven't searched sb of secrets with blue boy

well yeah if you want to play against npc only or to lose in ranked you can play decks in ridiculous ways.

Like trying to make heavy samurai a control deck
