With the current sale : 1 Emperor Archfiend, 1 Deal with the Dark Ruler, 1 Saffira. Not bad at all. Too bad I had a third Deal with the Dark Ruler in the 3rd pack, too...

hey guys I want to raise a question. Does anyone know if there's any possibility the Sea Stealth Attack to be destroyed in a duel?

If your opponent only has one water monster and they don't have any other defensive cards, they might choose not to banish their only defense and let you destroy their SSA instead. But that's kind of an unrealistic expectation. What you can do instead is to banish SSA using Cosmic Cyclone or Arkbrave Dragon. SSA can prevent destruction, but not banishment.

Instead of trying to get rid of SSA, you could use Anti-Magic Arrows to bypass it. Your opponent won't be able to activate SSA's effect during the battle phase AMA is activated, even if SSA was already face-up.

On that same note, why does the Sylvan cards activate from any card that excavates but Dark World cards only activate from other Dark World effects? This seems a bit unbalanced. The Dark World cards read as discarded from a card effect, not a Dark World card effect so shouldn't this not be a stipulation?

You can activate DW monsters' effect using non-DW cards. The issue is, most non-DW cards that discards, discards as a cost, not as an effect.

Card that discards as a cost, like tribute to the doomed, makes the DW cards effect missed the timing because sending the card to the GY is not the last action that occured

That is incorrect. They're mandatory, so CAN'T miss their timing. (Which also means they'll trigger from EFFECTS that discard and then do something afterwards, too, like Beckoning Light. A card like Archfiend of Gilfer would miss its timing.)

Costs and effects are completely different things, however. There's a reason Dark Worlds specify being discarded by a card effect and Fableds don't.

That's new for me because i thought DW can't use i thought they can't use TTtD because they missed their timing. Thanks for the clarification

I was wondering if anyone else had an issue with the "Alien" deck. When you use Brainwashing beam to take control of an opponent's card and the card you take control of has an effect that causes it to be destroyed if you don't meet it such as Gaia's, "Banish one rock-type monster or send this card to the graveyard," Brainwashing beam remains in your spell/trap zone and you have to use a card like "Twister" to get it to go away. Is this an issue or am I reading the card wrong. Can't tell you how many times I have lost due to having two Brainwashing beams stuck in my trap zone and I am getting frustrated.

Yu-Gi-Oh is really strict with the wording.
It's meant to be like that because in the brainwashing beam text, it only destroy itself if the monster is DESTROYED, Gaia Plate doesn't DESTROY itself but SEND ITSELF TO THE GY which is why Brainwashing Beam stayed on your field

Bug 2

Adding to previous, a lot of trap cards are not working according to the description of the card. One that I can’t activate anymore is secret of the gallant. It won’t activate anymore at all

Hello all, I’m pretty sure there’s a bug going on. 4 games in a row my deck shuffles nothing but my magic cards into my hand on the first turn. I can use spells from my hand before placing them on the field and magic jammer and trap hammer don’t work properly. Doesn’t activate according to the card description

Are you trying to activate magic/trap jammer the same turn you set it? If that was the case, trap cards can't be activated the turn it was set

Adding to drawing cards. Last 10games I’ve had the same hand... toon summed skull, and 4 magic cards... in my deck I have more monsters than magic.. how am I getting the same hand over and over again? It’s so irritating to surrender because the hand you get is 🔥ty... I want to play a good game not feel like it’s 1 sided or luck of the roll just to play.. I want to have a decent duel but literally the outcome depends on the first draw.. first draw decides if I win or lose.. that’s ducking stupid.. this should be more challenging

That's some rotten luck, perhaps a bit TOO rotten. Do you mind posting your deck? If all things fail, you could trying using the skill Balance with 12 monsters, 4 spells, and 4 traps in deck. Or perhaps using Restart.

My gosh, this game is pretty much boring after 1 years of playing. No more new character, no more character to level up yadayada, glad I'm not a whale!

We got a new character unlock literally 2 weeks ago, getting another in a month and getting a level cap increase in a few weeks. This is the dumbest time you could possibly have chosen to whine. Which is saying a lot, since whining like that's dumb to begin with.

Why do you want?
Arkana is only a Dark Magician support character, but a DM deck is so bad in Platinum and above.
In Gold rank: 50-60% winrate, but in Platinum: 10% only. Dont run for this deck. I tryed it so hard, but it is garbage.

Did they change the UI recently? I just lost three matches because I accidentally clicked out of the monster effect activation Yes/No prompt. SO annoying, I can't believe I did that. I feel like this wasn't possible in the past. Am I wrong?
