Friendduel/challenge

(Character limit on title sorry) I've been having trouble when I try to duel any of my friends. Either it would start and 1 minute later (yes I timed it) it would say time limit loss or not connect in general. Any one else having these problems and what's the best way to fix it?

I don't think they've ever discontinued a card from the PVP tickets.

Yup. at least give us the option to choose who goes first depending on who wins the toss. i might have a deck best suited for going second so ill let my opponent go first.

- and of course we need a very-very smart nerfing.
- if Konami nerfing, limiting one card, but later its become common, then unlimit it.

dont think theres something wrong with sharing thoughts as long as you stay respectful. well, there will be different oppinions too.

Only ones who will have different opinion than him are Sylvan players, to be honest.

Even well-known players in the West and champions in Japan agrees the meta right now is ridiculously stupid due to Sylvan, and if Konami doesn't do something, the game will only die because of it.

Honestly, more than specific fixes, I feel that Duel Links needs to make balance changes each month, or at least, check the game's health each month. The current game meta is not Sylvans, nor Masked hero, nor Sea Stealth Attack. The current meta is "Coin-flip meta", a meta where you toss a coin at the start of the duel, and it defines wether you win or lose. There's little to no room for skill.

I now have ABYSS SOLDIERS (3x), because first copy I got lucky with the UR deal (but it's not the guaranteed UR), second copy acquired after opening <10 packs, and 3rd copy after opening 61 packs.

What deck can I build around them aside from the staple SSA deck? Like, is there an autoduel deck for this, because my Unga Bunga deck sucks now (Caninetaur and Boxer as cores), or any other purpose?

I feel like I need to justify this massive luck and have to find usefulness for 3x Abyss Soldiers as f2p. Thanks.

The good thing about Abyss Soldier is that it works on virtually any WATER deck due to how generic it is.

My Earth Warrior build.
No Mirror walls, No Walls of Destructions, No Windstorms, and only 1 Floodgate.

I would take out Nobleman-Eater Bug. It's probably way too slow for you (you need to tribute, set, and then wait at least a turn to flip it up). Impenetrable Attack is a great card... but it is probably not all that useful for you. It can protect one of your monsters or buy you a turn... but then what? It won't improve your situation by itself. De-Spell is... usable, but really vanilla.

If you're using Marmiting Captain, then you'll probably want more monster cards. 12 monsters is a pretty good number. I'd suggest another high level earth warrior, but they're either SR/UR or too situational/can't be special summoned. Consider putting in E-Hero Wildheart and maybe Blindly Loyal Goblin. The former bypass crippling traps, and the later is an insurance against E-Con/Alien stealing.

Finally, do you have Release Restraint Wave? If you have 2+ copies of that, you might consider using that for S/T removal instead of De-Spell/Trap Jammer. You'll have to put in another equip spell or two for it to work consistently, but I'm sure you have another Sword of Dragon's Soul lying around, and I recommend giving Assault Armor a try... being able to attack twice can be really nice.

Now I think of it, I don't think Field-Commander Rahz would do you too much good either, at least not compared to having another 1800+ ATK monster. If you're going to use Release Restraint Wave for backrow removal, then you might want to consider replacing Metalmorph with a spell equip card instead. You already have 3 cards that can deal with unbeatable monsters.

How come i cant get map fragments when I duel Ranked online and win?

Super Rush Headlong will be a viable card later in the game?
It's worth to open box to get Super Rush Headlong?

I wouldn't rely on Super Rush Headlong so much... It's still a powerful card, but you'd end up disappointed when the Sylvans destroy all your monsters, or when the Aliens take control of your remaining monster, or just plain stealing your monster with Enemy Controller. So I'd say 1 SRH is all you need.

In the current pool of cards, SRH is definitely past its prime, so don't spend too much on it. its still useful against AI, but not as viable in the PvP scene. you probably can still get some fringe uses out of it. I'd say get 2 or none.

I summoned Talaya using Rose Lover and still Stealth Sea Attack destroyed her. Doesn't Rose Lover make the monster immune to traps for one turn? What happened there? I cursed so loud.

using rose lover means that if a trap is activated your monster will remain unaffected,but SSA kinda overrides that(I do not know the exact rule,but SSA does not 'activate' an effect,it works as a blanket covering every monster your opponent controls)

For real? I honestly thought Rose Lover's effect would prevent your card from being affected by SSA for that turn, but I can't argue against how the game actually works. Sometimes it is hard to tell if something is a bug or a feature or an obscure ruling, kind of like how Anti-Magic Arrows would stop face-up S/T from activating, whereas you can't negate an already face-up S/T using a counter trap.
