Skill Details

Can be used when your Life Points are lower than your opponent’s. Increase the ATK of Rank 4 or lower WATER Sea Serpent-Type Xyz Monster by 1500 per three Xyz Materials until the end of the turn. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

Thought of an otk combo. All you need is nightmareshark some back row counter or negate and 500 more ATK.

Thinking of cosmic cyclone to lower my HP. Pop some back row xyz to nightmareshark,activate skill, use aquajet for 4500 direct attack.

Or, you could simply target Nightmare Shark with Concentrating Current and grant it instantly the 4000 ATK needed for the OTK.

Fun fact: There are only five "Rank 4 or lower WATER Sea Serpent-Type Xyz Monster" that can have 3 materials without any extra combos:

Number 32: Shark Drake (Rank 4 with 2800 ATK)
Tri-Edge Levia (Rank 3 with 1800 ATK)
Mermail Abysstrite (Rank 3 with 1600 ATK)
Number 47: Nightmare Shark (Rank 3 with 2000 ATK)
Number C32: Shark Drake Veiss (Rank 4 with 2800 ATK but you need a Rank-Up card)

You forgot Full Armored Black Ray Lancer.
Although we likely wont be summoning him the normal way (3 level 4 water monsters).

BTW, C32 doesn't need any Rank-Up card.

Full Armored Black Ray Lancer is a Beast-Warrior Type.

And I'm not sure how you can summon C32 in another way in Duel Links format. It needs 4 monsters which seems to be impossible with only 3 monster zones. Unless I'm missing something...

Oh yeah, forgot about this skill only affects sea serpent.

Aside to C32, you can just summon him using your 32 on the field as the only material this is written on C32's text (alternative summoning method for it). As long as 32 have at least 2 materials, then C32 will also have at least 3 materials when it is summoned.

The only WATER Sea Serpent Xyz monster is locked behind another skill.

This skill is completely useless (for the moment) XD

You could still combine it with DNA surgery & DNA transplant. But it would be a 2 card + skill combo just to get 1.5k ATK.

You could run it with Leviathan Dragon, if you use cards like Overlay Regen to add XYZ materials to Leviathan Dragon. Still kinda useless to me though. It'd be better if it just gave 500 ATK per material, rather than 1500 per every three.

But you'd still need DNA surgery because Leviathan is a Dragon.

I think the best combo is currently Gagagigo the Risen + DNA transplant to get a 4450 ATK beatstick. And even this is extremely gimmicky.

Can someone clarify this skill? It's 1500 x3, 1500 total if your monster have 3 materials or 1500 total by sending 3 materials to grave?

I think it's 1500 if you have 3 materials. If you somehow manage to get 6 materials on a card, then it's 3000.
