Pros

Can give a high attack increase if used with a high attack monster.
Can use face down monster's attack to give to your other monster.

Cons

Takes the base/original attack of the used monster instead of current attack.

Tips

Piranha Army + Master of Oz = 5,000 attack that will deal 10,000 damage, which is enough to get the highest attack bonus.
You can use Riryoku to increase your main monster's attack and use Gift of the Martyr by taking the reduced monster's attack to still give the original attack.
example: Use Riryoku by taking Blue-Eyes White Dragon's attack and give to Piranha Army, then use Gift of the Martyr by using BEWD and giving it to Piranha, which will result in Piranha with 4500 + 800 = 5400 and will deal double that damage if it can attack directly.

this cards description should be updated or something cause in game im using this and noticed two things ....or it could be considered as one thing......it only works for a monsters original attack.....so in my 2 uses of the card i had maju garzett at 5800 attack and cu chu at 5000 and when i used the card:1. it didi not let me sacrifics maju to boost cu chu and 2. when i sacrificed cu chu it only gave me the added 500 original attack

Yeah it is confusing, but it only gives the original attack. Might be useful if you Riryoku a BEUD and then tribute it using the effect of this card.

I think this because it reads the monsters atk once it is in the grave therefore atk printed on card original atk.
I think with maju it sees it as zero so it does not let you or it cant add a question mark as an atk.

Can't you get this from standard duelist?

Combine this with Riryoku and Give the attack of a blue eyes to a pihranah and you hit life points for over 10k!

Amazing for farming

Does this card work with tributing the option tokens from Victory Viper XX03? Can someone test this?

It can work or carry itself alone without support or help from other cards
(IMO)

I use this with summoner and dimension hole and then piranha ez 10k only takes 5-6 cards so never have to worry about discarding

Yep, confirmed ruling that it is Original ATK only. Too bad for Vassal, but this is Piranhas territory right here.

Piranha + BEUD/Master Oz = ez 10k.
You can even use Black Meteor if you plant a Ryoku on it before the Martyr.

I admit I was hoping to do a Scorpion/Piranha combo w/Ryoku, but it's all chill. My fusion monsters will help it own ALL ZE THINGS!!! DX

But really, using Piranha Martyr helps thin out your deck a bit more so you won't have to rely on Vassal Union or mildly expensive Cerberus. & easily fit in ANY Fusion Deck, even Twin Thunder.

Think Imma like this Farming change, been tired of Vassal really.

Ritual Alts: Anything with 2800 and over plus Ryoku. (Fusion is the better option here though)

Then there's Corridor (direct attack spell) but it's only needed in a defensive deck. Beatdown ones can go without it~

Ahh no I thought this would be good in cerberus darn was excited! Guess it is only orginal attack, but good for use on high attack fusion monsters or ritual monsters to tranfer attack to piranha that can double the attack

This card is a saving grace for those who don't have Union Attack.

Yeah, luckily we got this. At least I can farm the Pegasus event & still manage to reach 4m point even for beginner
