I just negated a kuribo even though he had no other kuribo on graveyard. Why did this work?

Because he sent it to the graveyard to use it's effect , and since it's 'in the graveyard'you can use it

Can this card stop the effects of cards like Delta the Magnet Warrior, Sylvan Marshalleaf, Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, and Gozuki, when the monster card is in the graveyard?
