I found a new deck that actually has been getting me 6000+ points vs Kaiba in the past 4/5 duels. I FINALLY GOT MY ENEMY CONTROLLER ON THE LAST ONE!! If you're interested, check out the deck here:

Looks like there's finally a solution to farming Kaiba consistently AFTER the update!! I found this optimized deck for farming Kaiba. The deck apparently will consistently get you 6000+ assessment points. By FAR the best way I've seen!! What do you guys think:

Fortunately i haven't upgrade to the latest patch. My 1 CET did not get attacked when he has 2 monster, although DD warrior still make me sweating

One tips : Judgement of Anubis saves the day.
I won my 2 duel coz of that card, i destroy his BEWD with that Anubis by bait him with wonder balloon/equip spell

Cat's Tribe no longer works. It doesn't matter if you have full life points, or even MORE than 4,000 LP. If Kaiba has two monsters or more, he will attack you. Doesn't even need DD Lord. He'll attack you with any old monster to 🔥 your Cat.

The only time he will not attack is if you have a booster equip spell on your Cat. I thought he might Twister that, but he drew his whole deck and never Twistered it. Instead, he killed it, and the Cat, with DD Lord.

In short, Cat deck is obsolete. It will lose. I lost 4 duels in a row and only won the 5th by decking him out on the last try. Cat deck is a huge fail.

Just a heads up guys, Spirit ryu interaction no longer works with the recent update.
If they have a stronger monster, your spirit ryu will be attacks no matter what your hand size or it's content is.

Ok, I finally set this deck for me, but something must be very wrong. For a deck you guys say it's like 90% effective, after losing for the 6th time in a row I totally disagree. The AI does hit your cat's ear with a common monster if he has more than one monster to sacrifice. Even filling my trap row with javelins / mirror walls / nutrient Z, I cant manage to survive.
I'm sorry to sound like the 🔥 guy who come to criticize, but after wasting 336 PRECIOUS white keys I've been keeping to fight him (I really want his cards), I totally frustrated by the feeling of being trolled this deck gave me. :/

3. follow the steps above they give a general guideline. the rest is learning how to use the deck and what situation calls for what. ps his drop rates are horrid. spend 800 white keys... no battle ox or enemy controller yet.

Hey, thank you guys for your answers :)
Anyway, I havent tried this deck again since im outta keys. Maybe i was just being very unlucky, since he was always using his dimensional warriors on my spirit ryus, or killing my cats with a monster...My personal deck is cool enough to 🔥 him, but not with more than 3000 points score. Maybe I'll try this deck again if I feel confident about it.. dunno.

I still use this deck with be BEUWD combo. Much more simpler for me with less room for error. And it works fine since I don't have extra Riryoku.

he probably will ,i tried to bait him with shard of greed but didnt work so i assumed that he will use twister under 2 situations which are destroying equip spells and destroying field spell.So using 2 riryoukus is the best way to finish 5000+ dmg

I replaced one Riryoku and Curry for ritual weapons and he destroyed both on my last turn with twister

For those who don't have a second Riryoku, you can also use any +500 ATK Equip Spell that can be equipped on Kaiba's Blue-Eyes. Use it before using Riryoku to give Cu Chulain +1750 ATK (500 + 1750 + 3000 = 5250). Kaiba will not Twister the equip cards on his own blue eyes.

Chain destruction it? Makes only 1 instead of 3
Other option is Element guys from UR set, which ignore effects if you control an earth type

This wording is somewhat unclear to me: In case you set the "Restart" skill to the deck, the following cards should be replaced with Enchanted Javelin. Does this mean Enchant Javelins should be used with Restart Skill or the replacements should be used with Restart Skill?

You only want to take javaelin if you're not using restart since they're just filler to buy you turns to draw.

Possible replacements for spirit ryu: "Cloning" is good for stalling. Copy a small guy or even blue eyes to stall or trade.

The Golden Apples also works, but not everyone may have this card.

Just for clarification, I use Cloning as a sub for a 3rd spirit ryu.

The cloned card still loses to kaiba's 3x d.d. Warrior (as the spirit ryus do) and any monster with higher atk.

If the AI has lethal damage after trading his lowest ATK monster with your cat, then it attacks. Here's a common situation: AI has 3000 atk blue eyes, 2400 atk dragon, and 1700 atk beatstick. If you have 1 cat and 5400 LP (or less), it will 🔥 the 1700 atk guy and attack for 5400 damage. If you have 2 cats and 3000LP, it will 🔥 the 1700 and 2400, and hit for 3000 lethal dmg.
