These are some of the popular cards that player use to increase their LP, in which Aroma Garden is only applicable to Aromage Decks. Using Asleep at the Switch allows you to destroy 1 monster your opponent controls when they gain LP.

Use this in conjunction with dark cure, everytime your opponent summons a monster(s) they gain life points but if you also have asleep at the switch in play you can destroy their monster.

There are way better 2 card combos around.

It appears this can't be used with Savage Colosseum. It took me by surprise and I would like to know why is this. Can anyone help?

It's a Normal Trap that doesn't say it can be used in the damage step... So it can't be used in the damage step.

Only if you're really hurting for 1000 LP as well. The thing is, you'll be spending 2 cards just to destroy 1 monster. That might really hurt you in the long run.

I don't think it is two cards worth of just destroying one monster, since you can trigger your own Aromages' effects too if used in Aroma deck.

Unless you're specifically hunting for aromage players, this card won't do much.

Aquablast Reply
Draining Shield is a pretty popular card. Besides, Aromage is common enough that maybe someone might REALLY hate them. Geargia might be using Spell Absorbing Life too. Finally, you might be able to trigger this yourself, if you use many cards that give your opponent LP as a side effect.

not right now, but they possibly the one who might rise again after new nerf skill/banlist.

or if you sharp enough, usually new card from event/trader etc hints something that related (as a support/counter) to the next new box/next event.
