The equipped monster gains 300 ATK. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, return this card to its owner's hand instead. Then, destroy 1 monster, except the one that battled the equipped monster, and inflict 600 damage to your opponent. After that, Special Summon 1 "Evil Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 7/ATK 2500/DEF 2500) on your opponent's side of the field. During the turn this card is returned to your hand, you cannot use "Vicious Claw" from your hand.

I guess he refers to the fact that an evil-looking guy with long, fair hair appears in a card that contains the word "Vicious", but yeah, no. Highly doubt Konami would have bothered to turn this card into a Cowboy Bebop nod.

The part where you give the opponent a 2500 ATK monster that your opponent can freely use makes this card terribly meh.

Except this card was printed in OCG/TCG more roughly around 12 years before Supreme King's Castle.....

*oops, the "more" shouldn't be there, I originally typed "more than 10 years" but replaced it with "roughly around 12 years", but apparently I didn't fully removed the previous sentence

Indeed. But since the Field spell exists now, that play is now plausible.

Back in the day, I had a Remove Brainwashing deck that ran Vicious Claw. A free pop into a 2500 beatstick was fun. :P
