If it were any kind of damage would be playable in a burn deck

But you need to inflict battle damage in order to active it, which is probably erasing the purpose of burn deck in the first place

Completely outclassed by the tie that binds.

I was wondering: Is there any kind of scenario where this skill is NOT completely outclassed by Tie that Binds?

Well there is a unicorn scenario i can think of. Take this for example, you have a monster with 1900 atk power and you opponent is using Atem. Tie that binds will make your monsters atk 2000 and will activate destiny draw. So yeah there is but its not like its significant.

Haha, I see. I wanted to build a deck around Scud's unique skills but this one seems extremely bad. But at least there is one very specific scenario where it might have a very small advantage. Thanks.

Yea, the only thing I could see this genuinely being used in is something like Temple of the Mind’s Eye burn

Even then it would be bad. It doesn't matter if you deal 1000 or 1050 damage: 4 Attacks will be enough to decrease the LP to 0.

The only reason to use this skill I can imagine is the following: You have a deck that can easily deal either 3950 damage with 2 monsters or 3900 with 3 monsters. So, this skill would turn it into an OTK deck. But even then Beatdown / The tie that binds would be better
