No where do I where it says the new world is temporary. It does say you have until nov 30 to collect the release goodies.

Only 3 characters at the start which I guess means that all the rest will have unlock events. But the thing is how would they give unique events with a theme to Yugi, Joey, and Tea, who were already pretty central as main characters. Yugi, I guess they can think of something centered around his duels in the movie and maybe make the Joey event be about when he was trapped? But what can they do for a Tea unlock event since she is really just support for the group? The whole way they decided this just seems strange and I can't picture what they are going to do for them. I think it should have started as Kaiba, Mokuba, Yugi, Joey, and Tea at the beginning to get when the world first came out.

How is the main protagonists of the series not a default character? Making Yugi an eventual event exclusive unlock doesn’t make sense.

For reals. I thought it was bad when last year, Jack Atlas (main rival) was not a default character, but an event exclusive as well. But this makes even less sense. Instead, they made Mokuba and some fat bozzo defaults.

Not yet, to be more precise. He obviously would come eventually.

Only 3 new characters? Am I the only one disappointed on how the game is growing? Last year we got 5 new characters which of course means gems and new cards. Now Kaiba drops are half already present and I suspect Mokuba is no different. They also introduced a new value which is the skill chips that are only available in the events, so they can reduce even more the gems in the events because instead we get those and the useless crystals/EX Gems (tradable at the merchant for the even more useless gold). The idea of trading skills is not bad but they could have used only gold and jewels considering the fact I have an enormous and unused amount of them, but no, they introduced a new value to further dilute the rewards. The game is becoming slack in my opinion, Konami only profits on EX Structure Decks and New Boxes, F2Ps (which I am not, but I am playing since week 1) are cut off the majority of the possibilities. I am disappointed because the game has a lot of potential which is lost in loops of money grabbing and opportunism.

Ok but the game population increased and they just reduced the support to it? Only 3 new characters and very few new cards from them... This is not a road to encourage.

There is really not that many characters to put in considering it's based on a two hour movie when compared to other worlds that have 70+ hour spans. Most will surely be recycled DM characters.
