Combo this with ring of defense or delusion and it’ll be unstoppable

Except neither Ring of Defense or De-Fusion works to dodge the burn. Ring in particular is a dumb suggestion since Power Bond isn't a trap, and the damage isn't from an activated effect, and thus you couldn't chain to it anyway.

There's certainly ways to dodge it, like Rainbow Life or Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment, but neither of those does.

We got Miracle fusion which was locked behind a tough skill

We are definitely getting this card at some point when it's not as good, it'd be busted right now when they introduce Twin Dragon

Cyber Dragon, Cyber Twain Dragon, and Power as UR cards. And Cyber Dragon Core, Cyber Valley, Overload Fusion, and Cybernetic HiddenTechnology as SR cards. JUST DO IT KOMONEY!

CyDra is my favorite archtype and what you are asking for is an overkill.

I could see them giving up CyDra and maybe Twin Dragon.

Still not worth using sadly. The skill I mean.

We'll get it one day when it's power crept like Miracle Fusion. Right now it's OP and we don't even have CyDra to go with it.

No. Forbidden chalice negates the effect of a monster, and the damage is dealt by the spell card. However, I think you can use cold feet.

It's not an activated effect, so Cold Feet would do nothing too.

There are cards like Rainbow Life and Cyber Kirin that can let you dodge the burn, though it's usually more worthwhile to just take it (or win the turn you play Power Bond).

The problem with the No Excuses! skill is that it says that your lp must drop below 500 for it to work. Just how often does that even happen without someone dying at the same time? I suppose there could be a way to make a deck around it with cards to reduce your own lp, but I would rather just have power bond itself.

Well, maybe the best way to drop your LP to below 500 is Winged Dragon of Ra, if you summon him, you get 100 LP, and you can use Power Bond, after that.

Thanks. But Ra is pretty much impossible for me to summon in pvp without a special deck. It doesn't fit in with cyber dragons. There is cybernetic fusion support, cosmic cyclone, and maybe even mirror wall if I want. Cards like this help speed it along. (I will just have tp turn down the volume a lot to not hear Zane's awful lp cost groans). It is not impossible for it to happen.

Only the fusion monster you are trying to summon has to be machine-type.

There is one shown in the deck at jump victory carnival so we should be getting one.

if you're looking to otk with this card better use rainbow life as a backup plan if all else fails
