Unable to negate any Spell/Trap/Monster effects outside the Damage Step.

Super Rush Headlong

Sylvan Komushroomo

Super Rush Headlong can be countered if your opponent activates it during the Damage Step. Flip effects like Sylvan Komushroomo are negated as the effect activates during the Damage Step.

Notes :

Although the costless negation is rather attractive, this card is not as versatile as the mainstream negation cards like Ultimate Providence as it can negate more Spell/Trap/Monster effects at any Phase, with a cost.

It would work if you intended to negate verre ATK boost, but her main issue is actually the effect negation part. Cards such as Ultimate Providence work better as it work for both effect.

Does this work on power of the guardians (while it is already on the field). Curious if it's played and your opponent attacks you if you can destroy it from gaining another counter?

...No. It can't be used against Spell/Trap effects (which is the case for every Counter Trap in Duel Links, and almost every Counter Trap in the TCG/OCG), just activations, and the Spell Counter placement effect activates in the Battle Step, not the Damage Step, anyway.

This card has sure bug or I can't understand the text. I am attacking, and my opponent activates Canadia, Drowning Mirror Force or Enemy Controller and my Face-Off trap won't activate and nullify their traps/spell/monstercard, sometimes it works, sometimes don't - why? Bug or I don't understand this card.

Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien isn't Shi En. He's likely Kagemusha of the Blue Flame.

Not all Battle Phase traps are/can be activated in the Damage Step. This is useless against a card like Wall of Disruption or Widespread Ruin.

This card absolutely kills sylvan effects. Combined with Memory Loss you can really reliably contain the chain effects.

Sure, you can use it on Sphere Kuriboh. If someone magically happens to activate it in the Damage Step (which isn't possible).

Probably because it wasn't activated in the Damage Step? (In before it was something like Enemy Controller or "A" Cell Recombination Device that CAN'T be activated in the Damage Step to begin with.)
