If this card is Link Summoned: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 card on the field; shuffle it into the Deck, then, if this card was co-linked when this effect was activated, you can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Knightmare Unicorn" once per turn. While any co-linked "Knightmare" monsters are on the field, for your normal draw in your Draw Phase, draw 1 card for each different card name among those co-linked "Knightmare" monsters, instead of drawing just 1 card.

Performing a co-link on DL is such a tedious task. You only have 3 main monster zones and you start with 1 card less.

I've got a Mekk Knight World Chalice deck that can do it pretty consistently. It brings out both Ningirsu and Unicorn, then links off into a Co-Linked Firewall Dragon.

It's yellow because of Lore reasons. Knightmare Unicorn is the core of Mekk Knight Yellow Star corrupted by Iblee into a Knightmare creature.

People seem confused about this card so I'll explain. It's a generic Rank 3 that can be used to link climb that also happens to have a useful effect. It's mostly useful in Link decks. You don't use 3 monsters to make this, you use a link 2 and any other monster. Good link decks have ways of generating resources so this doesn;t use your entire hand/field.

The best use for this card is to summon it during your opponents turn. Since we don't have I:P Masquerena, the best way we can do this is by searching World Legacy Awakens in Mekk Knights and using that. 'Why not just use Compulse?'. Compulse bounces to hand, Unicorn spins to the deck - much stronger effect. Also, compulse isn't searchable.

Thing is that there are only like 3 decks capable of summoning it without giving away their entire board/hand. Apart from those decks, that are all link based decks' unicorn is just filler for the extra deck.

Well yeah, it's early into the link format so there isn;t a lot of good link decks yet. Remember when everyone said Onomat sucked before we got good XYZs?

As of now the best decks that can use Unicorn are Infernoid and Mekk Knights, which are both tiered decks.

Pfft just use back to square one instead lol

Both target, neither are quick effect but back to square one doesn't make you use 4 cards and is free

yeah, this card is usually made along the way to otk/ plus with other cards. I'm not even sure if the i.p + link into this line would be good.
