Stage 1 of the KC Cup will start on April 5th. You'll start the event with the Duelist Level based on your final rank of the Ranked Duels season 26 (Feb 28 20:00 - Mar 31 21:00).

I think advancing your D.Lv might be easier than it looks. It seems like you won't lose progress as long as you don't lose thrice in a row. I managed to level up by maintaining a 2-loss-1-win streak... And while I'm not too sure about this, I think it's also easier to get back to your previous D.Lv even if you got demoted. So don't give, people. You should be able to make it as long as you have a 33% win rate.

so only KOG players are allowed to send their deck when they have reached level 20? i am just legendary with my OTK Fish deck

Yeah, that what I was wandering. I submitted my deck with proof of max duel lv but I don't see it here. Maybe they saw it and just did not put it on here keeping it for analytics or something; saw something about that on some other page, not sure witch one thought.

I'm Plat 3 atm (cba to rank up tbh) and mines up so Idk, maybe because it's exactly the same as another posted deck and you'll get an honourable mention or because they just haven't done it yet

Player named "l.k", played no cards on his 1st turn. On his 2nd turn, he played plasma ball, then photon blaster to make plasma ball 2000. Next, the cheating begins...he plays backup rider and stays on the field like an equip card, his atk went to 3500 as it should, he then uses cosmic cyclone to remove it for some reason, then plays another photon blaster (which do not stack). His atk was at 3500 though it should have dropped back to 2000. He attacks and takes OTKs with 7000...wow...been playing this game for 8 or 9 months, never seen a hack like that. Beware of player "l.k"

You may have encountered a cheater using a cheat that lets them see your cards, you just did not know it. But...maybe you did not. I believe I had 3 or so time limit losses, a few people could see my hand based on their plays, then I had the player I posted about above. Maybe 5-6 cheaters/hackers.

I cannot know for sure. It could be a correlation and not an actual cause and effect relationship. It was interesting enough to note though.

But -1 + -1 = -2 and I was shown that I could LV up. I won and it did not LV up...which suggested something was tinkered with. Why did it show that I could LV up or why did it not LV up, one of these was incorrect. I have since seen many people say they LV'd up from two wins at 15...so my actual LV up may have been legit, just not my third duel after the hacker duel...something was wrong there.

Have only ran into 1 glitch so far. I received a time limit loss on my opponent's turn with well over 200 seconds left. I wasn't about to win, but I did have control of the board and he had no cards in his hand. As soon as he drew his card, I was handed a time limit loss.

You guys feel like making a list of the player names here on this comment thread? I can't obviously type other names in foreign characters, but maybe this will be a start.

There is only one answer to all of this. Time Losses & "You Surrendered" come from hackers. Konami would've warned us about KC Cup glitches, but they didn't mention any of that. They only mentioned about cheaters.

I didn't have much of a problem reaching Dlv 15 when it comes to cheaters. But since I've hit 15, I'm trying to stay positive about it. I've ran into a few, but it's still early in the tournament.

Konami should just make an option to choose servers so that there will be less people 🔥ing about a time limit loss. High ping usually occurs when you're connecting to a different region's server.

I think some times this might be a connection issue because I have had it happen to my opponent. However, there are many times...even most of the time...this happens just as I am winning or just played a card that will ruin my opponents play. Also, remember there are time limit losses occurring for players while its their opponents turn...that is not a connection issue.

I atk with ssa on the field then my opponent activated srh.Why my monster got destroyed. I thought in general the atk monster wins

Because when you attacked your trap triggered and then he chained his SRH. It goes from bottom to the top in the chain list so SRH activated first

This has been answered a lot of times, but no, your level won't drop once you reached D.Lv 5, 10, 15, or 20.
