You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, and if you do, its ATK/DEF become 4000.

It's not just when Mai Summoned it. Pretty sure it appeared briefly in Sphere Mode every time it was Tribute Summoned. (I just checked Atem's Summoning it in the Ceremonial Duel as a refresher.)

Yep, despite being unsearchable, this is the one card that can counter Fur Hire once you draw it.

It is still inconsistent, but this is the closest thing we have to a counter, instead of merely a check.

The Fur Hire player will only have 2 choices:

1. Let a 4000 ATK Ra hits your field with your LP most likely still enough to clear the Fur Hire player's monsters, leading to a loss for the Fur Hire player when combined with Hey Trunade

2. Tribute Sphere Mode for Dyna, and summon nothing else, which is risky, as destroying a single Dyna isn't exactly hard. Then the Fur Hire player may gets OTKed.

No theres other option Tribute the ball to summon the your OWN chicken I do have RA in FH deck

I have three Ra's disciples and Ra with power of the tribute on Marik and this is the last card I need. Plus I have sphere mode in real life.

I just beat marik last night, stayed up till 3am. If you have a power deck it won't work in any way he will crush you by the 2nd or third turn ! .. granted his weakness is to simple .. sphere mode gives him power quickly in addition to his normal summon. However the defect is he pay 1000 pt to destroy monsters but not spells and traps .... I used exploder dragon affect to take out ra without damage to me .... After that he was as easy as a rare Hunter

Well it's easily beaten; you just don't summon more than three monsters until you're confident you can beat RA. For example- using aliens you just wait until you have an ACR.

I just tried until he was first. He summoned Ra and then I beat it with a spell card. The rest was easy.

Took me a couple tries, mostly due to bricking, but I finally managed to chuck him with mirror wall.
