If you control an "Evil Eye" monster: Target 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls; destroy it, and if you do, and "Evil Eye of Selene" is in your Spell & Trap Zone, banish that destroyed card. You can only activate 1 "Evil Eye Confrontation" per turn.

Why is storm preffered than this card? While storm can destroy the field spell and gorgoniea, this one has the advantage to being a quick play spell.

Because you have to use your normal summon or use a special summon of an evil eyes monster leaving you at mercy of all the karmas/raigeki/floodgates.etc

With storm you set and destroy your stuff then wipe the opp backrow, then you can safely normal or special summon

Fair enough. Although storm can be a brick turn 1 and this can be set. Although I can see storm having it's plus side.
