Fusion Tag , in duel liks, is just to fusion with Polymerization. Don't work of other way.

Everyone commenting on this card doesn't seem to understand it's use, but a look at the monster images on the card should give you a big clue.

This card helps you summon E-hero fusion monsters that have requirements that are also fusion monsters. For example, "Elemental HERO Marine Neos" requires "Neo-Spacian Marine Dolphin" which is also a fusion monster you can only otherwise summon with Nex...but fusion tag allows any monster on your side of the field to pretend to be "Neo-Spacian Marine Dolphin"... at least for fusion's sake.

It's a very specific fusion substitute...

You're better off using a fusion substitute like King of the Swamp for Shining Flare Wingman (and similar monsters like Dragon Master Knight). It doesn't usefully work for Dusktopia. Sure, you can turn a monster into a Destiny HERO with it, but you can't make a monster become a Fusion Monster with it, so it doesn't really make Dusktopia any easier.

when vwxyz dragon catapult cannon comes to the game the ruling on the yugioh wikia says that fusion tag can be used to substitute an xyz or vw to summon the vwxyz.

you can subtitute for both xyz and vw, that means if you have 2 monsters on field and 2 fusion tags, you can summon xyzvw

Maybe you accidentally targeted the same monster with both copies of Fusion Tag.

The revealed monster has to be a Fusion monster specifically written as material for another Fusion monster.

That's not strictly true. You can reveal Brave Neos, targeting your Beaver Warrior, and use it as a material for a monster like Elemental HERO Escuridao or Elemental HERO Divine Neos.

And you can reveal any Fusion, even if revealing a monster like Master of Oz is usually not going to do anything useful.

There's no real reason to use Fusion Tag for Dragon Master Knight. A Fusion substitute costs you one less card and doesn't force you to run BEUD. Granted, Fusion Tag would let you use "BEUD" + a Fusion sub, but BLS is more than searchable enough that it's better than Fusion Tag anyway.

Yeah. Poly + BLS + king of the swamp/hex-sealed fusion , costs you less card than using Fusion Tag

i dont see how you could use this. if your monster gets the name of a fusion monster how could it be ued for a fusion summon?

Now you can summon the almighty Rare Fish without first needing to summon Fusionist or use a Fusion Substitute.

What are you trying to use this card for

When this card is in your hand or on your field, the AI just stops performing any sort of Special Summons for Extra Deck monsters.
The same thing happens with Fusion Recycling Plant.
