why canadia works on vylon epsilon even with segment equipped. it says cannot target and canadia targets, so?

How come my Monsters equipped with this still get affected by all effects

spell effects that dont target still affect your monster

I had my Epsilon equipped with Segment (so it supposedly cannot be targeted with opponent's monster and trap effects).
But my opponent activated Dual Wield (which target) and my Epsilon still returned to Extra Deck.
Did I miss something?

when you activated segment your opponent activated dual wield in a chain so its still possible to target epsilon

Decent equip, no wonder why vylons are pretty strong against some other cards that target like Maximus

Still don't understand how to use it.
My vylon epsion equipped with this card still can targetted with sea stealth attack & ancient gear reactor dragon :v
