It works very well with XYZ block the new counter trap. Or cards that saves normal monsters but punishes effect monsters.

Once they arrive, Xyz Gift can trade in its materials for two cards; and Oni-Gami combo can allow it to attack twice.

I know Oni-Gami Combo is already in the game, I saw a standard duelist NPC in Zexal world use it. So we just need to wait until Konami make it available to players.

Justi-Break is an example of cards that save normal monsters but punish effect monsters.

Honestly this cards is very bad, you can just summon a Blue Eyes with 2 cards in your hand and it has better stats. Why wasting 3 monsters on the field for just this card with no effect? At least Giganticastle has 3100 Atk when summoned.

Because it's reptile! It has synergy with Molting Escape and other reptile-support cards.
Blue Eyes and Giganticastol cann't equip Molting Escape

It's an important card though in the story of gagagigo.

Don't think it's a good equivalent to Giganticastle. Gem-Knight Pearl would fit the role better. But knowing the fate of Gaia Knight - Force of Earth, it will probably be a box SR.
