Shame Trudge doesn't have a line with this card even though he was one of the only Shadow Drones with an on-screen duel.
He DOES have Warm Worm though, which is weird.
If you're using Sanctum of Parshath, that's why. It's not The Sanctuary in the Sky while in your deck, only on the field or in the Graveyard.
...Did you not read the card?
This card is part of a potential FTK. You will need:
1) Abare Ushioni
2) Cattle Call
3) Jormungardr the Nordic Serpent
4) Enemy Controller (or Stop Defense)
To perform this combo:
1) Summon Abare Ushioni and use its effect to inflict 1000 damage.
2) Activate Cattle Call by sending your Beast-Warrior to Graveyard; Summon Thor from the Extra Deck, but he will be useless except for this next step.
3) With Thor on field, you can now Special Summon Jormungardr the Nordic Serpent from hand to your opponent's control in DEF mode.
4) Target your Nordic Serpent with Enemy Controller or Stop Defense. When switched to ATK mode, it inflicts 3000 damage to its controller.
In total, this combo does 4000 LP damage depending on Abare Ushioni's coin flip.
It is. It can be used to steal a powerful boss monster of your enemy and has high scales.
Unfoetunately, with only one copy of him, you wouldn't be able to make use of his field effect easily.
Soulburner often crashes his monsters into face-down Spy/Guard, causing battle damage to him.
At this point, using Vassal for effect damage doesn't matter anymore.
Sure konami make a fu kin wall that dm can’t beat over and be forced to not run the skill so that you can use the old set three and pass dm with no consistency skill. I may be able to banish them on my turn but then the @@@er get summon another on my turn. This skill is @@@ing stupid and literally promotes stall…
Fun fact: this card can counter galloping gaia since "reveal" must be when card is in normal condition in hand. You cannot reveal card that already revealed.
Additionally, if trying to summon from the deck, it only works on the actual Ruin and Demise (the Lv 8 ones). The Supreme versions' name change effect only happens in the hand or on the field, so they aren't valid targets while in the deck.
