If you just link summon yes, but you can bring links back from GY to a monster zone. Personally I use super team super team buddy force unite.Use Encode in EMz, co-linked Elphase, co-link binary, co-link link bouncer or honey bot. I used to use this in TCG, it was much easier to do in one turn since we had much more card options. You can gain LP and wipe out opponents links.

No. The problem is that sending a card to the GY is part of the cost, not part of the effect. That's why it won't trigger the effect. It's similar to the Dark World monster issue where they don't trigger their effects when they're discarded to pay a cost.
Oh definitely. A lot of Spells in the franchise (including the ones in OCG/TCG) would have been a lot more usable (without being broken, just usable!) if they are Quick-Play.

As written on the card, it needs to be Fusion Summoned for the ATK boost.
Therefore, any card that does not Fusion Summon it, will not give it ATK boost.
