actual, non-trolling answer: BSG only negates the activation of a Spell card that targets it. DMC's banishing effect is activated long after DMC itself is activated. In other words, it's only the activation of a Spell card's EFFECT. Basically, BSG only works against cards that immediately targets BSG after activation. Continuous cards that activates their effect later, ignore BSG's effect.
