It is common for new players to laugh on old cards, although many of them were considered staples in the past (ofc not this one which was always a crap). But cards like gemini elf, the vanila 1900, was one of the most wanted cards and you needed 3 to be competitive (thus a secret rare). It is called powercreep. The problem of all card games.

This card raises your speed duel meter playing against Antinomy in his events when you synchro summon it and the second effect messes with his own synchro summoning.
cant agreed much. harpies is just a so-so to me sometimes i lose sometimes i win.
harpies relies heavily on spell card and should aware of that already.
their monster at high dmg only 2900.
i'm not see any problem since most deck have beater 3k dmg and can remove monster on the field before battle phases.

You’re thinking too much inside the box. This has nothing to do with this card does. It’s what this card is. It is a card created to belong to Michel Foucault. That’s why it’s so worthy.
What I meant is it was exist in duel link, and somehow became a new standard for good protection.
It was so powerful to the point being banned, and reason why I called it mighty. This is why no one care too much about cant be destroyed by battle as we already had a high standard to begin with.
The fact that this monster dumps a zombie from deck as soon as summoned, is superior to gozuki since it can be floodgate th'd, canadia'd, book of moon'd. And if ur opponent try to get rid of this card, it floats with something straight from the deck while Gozuki is only from hand and it needs to banish something first from GY.
This card deserves to be UR like Gozuki or at least SR, IMO.
But nevermind, I know why Gozuki is UR because you can continuously activate its effect and summoning zombie from hand regardless its level is great.
I’m trying to get it, having really bad luck with this card (sitting at just one copy)… as I’m building it, I’m seeing how often I can synchro summon easily starting with either Wildwind or Red Sprinter and any resonator, so I’m guessing with 3 of this card it will be even easier.
This is useful for a very small subset of pendulum extra deck monsters requiring their summoning method to activate over pendulum summoning. By far the weakest skill I've seen.
Recently, this card see more play, because harpie and gaia.
Also it can negates dark end dragon, atlantean pikeman & heavy infantry, dragon spirit of white & be alternative.
Too bad this card only negate monster excluding s/t and doesn't destroy. Maybe because it's normal trap not counter trap but has GY effect is nice, tho.
