That’s kind of right but honestly how will be able play this anti synchro card in a competitive deck….
Harpies and resonators were big support for the synchro mechanic in xyz era
I use one in a Ra's Disciple burn deck which focuses on filling up opponents side of the field with bad/useless monsters. By the time it can activate its effect though, they likely already have 3 monsters on the field.
I like that it’s a quick spell that can exchange a targeted tellarknight negating the targeting and then you can loop into the effects of the newly summoned tellarknight
Goddess is only poorly worded because it's old. Subs that've been printed more recently, like Fusion Parasite or King of the Swamp, have pretty clear wording. (This card can be used as a substitute for any 1 Fusion Material whose name is specifically listed on the Fusion Monster Card, but the other Fusion Material(s) must be correct.)
The point of the deck is to banish Abyss Actor - Superstar and then re-summon it with Chaos Zone? That's unnecessarily complicated. Just pendulum summon it from the extra deck a couple of times. Such a deck will be cheaper and faster.
Use this with Utopia Ray to confuse your opponent and then 1-shot them. Seems actually waaay too easy because all you have to do is build some decent level 4s and get this spell out to control how much LP you have
In master duel, this is kinda niche card to bring in side deck to counter drytron if you play the deck that has access to fusion & synchro like d/d/d, magikey, plunder patroll because drytron is ritual deck but they also have xyz monster or the other way around. You play drytron to counter fusion + synchro deck. Or if you want to struggle by yourself, play this card in odd-eyes or rokket because they have ritual and all extra deck mechanic. But if you play against drytron, make sure you get rid of vanity's ruler first because it locks you from special summoning and herald rituals are not the problem because this special summon is like kaiju, don't activate any card.
Seems like a great potential card for a Vampire deck centered around Duke. This is level 7 which works with him and plague-spreader and special summoning from the graveyard is the name of the game with that deck. Not to mention it runs 100% zombie type monsters.
Yeah, it's because the banishing part after drawing actually started a combo in that deck. At some case it doesn't even matter what you draw, as long as you can banish your TD
This makes more sense now after reading various other cards. Text has to specify "this card" from hand or GY, otherwise it can only be activated while on the field. Thanks everyone for the input!
I was hoping by expecting the worst that they would go against my expectations. And it worked. It's just too bad this doesn't usually work with decks, though...
Ah I was wondering what the point of this card and Bronk’s skill was. Permanent 800 attack gain twice a duel and 400 after that is much better than what this card first lets on.
One copy of beast of talwar works great with it. Also one copy of the Black Skull in the extra deck should be enough. Once in a while you will brick, but the pros are too good to pass up, this behemoth will @@@ up many smartasses with handtraps and/or poor defenses. If you don't get too trigger happy and set up your first(or second) turn with red-eyes slash and/or a gearfried with the RE Fang with chain then you're golden. Works wonders for me in 2nd stage KC so far.
