Same here. The hold-up is ridiculous when you consider that it's effect is not THAT good nowadays. So it can't be destroyed in battle. Big deal. Amazoness Queen is the same and you can bring her back with willpower. But if this thing goes, it isn't coming back. And things get killed by effects more than battle. At this point, they don't want to give this because it is too "fun", not OP.
Why people don't read carefully his card?
· Why doesn't it allow me to equip this spell card to a level 4 morphtronic radion?
- BECAUSE the text of Double C&D says: "Level 4 or higher MACHINE-TYPE MACHINE-TYPE MACHINE-TYPE "Morphtronic" monster you control." and RADION IS A THUNDER-TYPE.
No you can't. You still need to Tribute 2 monsters for Harpie's Pet Dragon (or any other, significantly better, Level 7+ WIND for that matter).
The point's mostly to trigger Harpie's Hunting Ground twice, but it'll let you reuse something like Swift Birdman Joe if you really want to.
I'm rather surprised they left out so many important things here. Alright, this'll be quite a bit of text...
1st: Vajrayana can also be special summoned in one turn with Aklys and Militum in hand. Go check their effects, I'm too lazy to explain. xD
2nd: Use skills like Beatdown, Tie that tilts or peak performance to be able to boost your Vaj to lethal dmg. (Use skill BEFORE Vaj's effect)
3rd: Sending an equipped Aklys to the graveyard let's you destroy any card on the field. On 2nd turn it'll likely be the only monster they control (don't summon Vaj on 1st turn. Low base stats and allows for counter play.) Pair that up with a lucky Hey, Trunade! pick-up and it's almost guaranteed lethal.
4th: Equip Vaj with divine lance. The trap immunity is really nice and since barely any meta-player knows this card and is too lazy to read they'll bust their traps anyway. It also provides a much needed ATK boost and you can resupply Vaj with more Aklys' from your deck every turn. Pair that with with dragunity legion and you'll never run out.
It's a really nice F2P deck since the base set up for the deck only requires you to pull from one box. Also, it was able to handle any meta with a few tweaks up to now. E.g. I included spiritualism (standard pick-up at the card trader) for this 6 samurai bs meta, since the dual wield trap is a serious threat to any synchro deck and it can't be negated by Shi En. (Again, many players don't read and still use the effect on it, which allows you to use more spell/trap cards this turn.) I can also recommend to include Stardust Dragon since its really easy to summon with Vaj if needed and it's pretty good for then Yubel decks.
This deck got me to legend for the past 3 months, which isn't too shabby for a F2P deck, is it?
Geez... I only wanted to add stuff concerning Vajrayana, but I ended up with a complete guide on the deck! xD
Extra deck is:
2 × Red Dragon Archfiend
1 × Chaos King Archfiend
1 × Stardust Dragon
1 × Ancient Fairy Dragon
I would suggest also using Stardust Charge Warrior (replacing Ancient Fairy Dragon)
Odds are they were facing a no Special Summons Vagabond IMO. You can activate it with only a single card in your hand as long as it's a monster you can Summon.
Even activating this card during opponent's turn has its weakness: unless your opponent cannot attack anymore, this card would surely be gone at the end of the turn. That's where Urgent Tuning would serve a use.
Technically, at the time this deck was a thing there were lots of cheaters who used external tools to force opponents to surrender. You could never reach kog because you could find one of these cheaters every 5 matches. Konami has worked a lot to ban all those people. OP's comment was a reference to this fact, as it was commonly said that the majority of those "hackers" had japanese usernames.
Cerberus in general is still viable against certain characters. (Luna for example.) This build is from like literally right after Yugi's event, though, so it's well over a year out of date.
A lot of people have moved onto things like Yubel, but eh. Cerberus still has some good points where it can be used (it can run a LOT of non-random Prismatic/Glossy cards to boost duel score, for example.)
It is perfect for Vampires. I was planning to level him up and try to get Beatdown on him but Parole will help till then since Scourge can use the effect. Life is a big resource for the vamps, of course.
