When summoning Kazejin by himself is a preferable alternative to summoning Gate Guardian, that should tell Konami that we need a retrained Gate Guardian (possibly as a Fusion monster, or one that banishes its components from the hand and/or deck to summon). Hell, we got retrains of several other ace monsters, so why not Mr. GG himself?
Duel Links is more of a speed dueling format. A 20 card minimum deck, only 4000LP. Less monster card and spell/trap zones. Also character skills and other things make for a different meta-game. Although you can use some of the same card combos and guidelines from the TCG, the format makes different cards more or less viable and strong than they may be in the card game.
You say that but you think its OK to lose your rank up match without being able to play any cards? Exodia forces you to play more than a 20 card deck and the odds of having the right cards right away are lower, so its fair. The clowns using this card are TROLLS who are trying to ruin peoples matchs for laughs.
