Well, technically this card is op. Draw sense: spell/trap is nerfed because of this. Easy special summon, protection, search monsters from deck as its floating effect. Also Block Dragon OTK in DL, which players usually bring Jet Synchron in this deck is banned as well in TCG. Lol.
Yes but the Benefit that you get from actually pulling off the combo is worth the risk of having a dead card in the hand. So yes Garnet is one of the most famous cards in the game because basically all dead cards in the hand are called Garnet.
If only the effect that place Ice Counter is not once per turn, or once per turn but doesn't just target 1 monster.
This card would actually be more usable then.
The most psychic monster that is played is psychic wheeleder and psy-frame Lord Zeta. But since wheeleder mostly you use for synchro material and its low attack, then Zeta is the only good target. After you attack directly and give 2500 damage, if your opponent has cosmo brain, shiranui synchro, blackwing synchro, invoked fusion (except cocytus) and many more special summoned monsters, activate this card's effect to banish itself and one of theirs to avoid the drawback of this card.

Definitely, the AI is so dumb with those 2 cards. It uses wod on a single monster very very often and really loves to sacrifice monsters equipped with potg. I also love how it floodgates ANYTHING, even a monster with 0 attack, even reborn frog.
The stress accumulated from a freaking 21 or so days (adding both times of this event) of this voiceless bore spawning every single 2 seconds making some really stupid misplays and or awfully annoying topdecks.

Kinda similar to D-HERO Diamond guy but this card is used with normal trap instead. In Duel Links good combo with treacherous trap hole destroying 2 monsters and clear your GY from trap and you'll be able to use its 2nd copy. In TCG/OCG = Magical Explosion, broken.
I still hadn't realized consistent ways of getting rid of monsters that have both high attack and high defense. It continues to be hard for me but less so now.
