I know. I recently got back into yugioh and as a kid I used vampires and remember using the Zombie Madness Structure deck. I just want to try a way to use him in the modern era. Not planning on using him seriously. Just want to experiment. I feel like there is something there with Genesis, sorcerer, familiar, and retainer if only there was a reliable way to bring him out.

Until they finally give us Karukuri's boss synchro monster, I think this card can at least be brought back to semi-limited. The speed of the game faster than when it was limited, and with the array of options decks now have simply negating/banishing this card can stop the deck cold.
Also, fusion substitute only works on specifically named material.
You can't use fusion sub to replace one of the other two AG besides Ancient Gear Golem for the material of Ultimate Golem.

The main appeal of this skill is somehow sending Gazer Shark to the GY from the deck and use its effect to resurrect the two other monsters and pop out a Rank 5 monster.
Which I hope it means Lifeless Leaffish is gonna be in the structure deck. Otherwise, yeah, it's a very lackluster skill
Basically, the trick to beat Soulburner AI, is to prevent him from being able to Link Summon spam in the first place (Demise of the Land + Summon Breaker is also a good combo for this), and get rid of his Sanctuary so that he can't Reincarnation Link Summon.
Can someone explain how this works, because the opponent activated a trap in the same column as a Mekk-Knight. The card flashed showing it was activated, it played the negation animation on the opponent’s card and then the trap effect happened anyway
