I have also been looking for ways to use this skill.
I would like to use other generic cards that gives more benefit than "Solemn Scolding" when you pay as much as 3000 life points.
I suppose Dark Archetype is the best choice, I already have 3 copies of this guy.
Isn't there a trap/normal spell/quick play card that can special summon card ejector ?
I'm not so sure about that....the deck heavily relies on their Continuous backrow, which is fine in OCG and TCG as they have 5 backrow zones, but DL only has 3 backrow zones.
You can tell just by reading Chthonian Soldier that it doesn't work. Chthonian Soldier inflicts effect damage equal to the battle damage you took. If you take 0 battle damage, it will inflict 0 effect damage.
JD won't be good if we don't get the really usefull LS cards: charge of the light brigade and solar recharge. Turn one with LS will be awfull other wise even with grass. And of course you may mill JD :'(
Yeah, unfortunately it only negates after damage calculation, meaning flip effect has that tiny window where it can activate.
Would have been better if this card's effect is more similar to Aromage Rosemary.
