Hi guys just wondering if Super Rush Headlong VS Heavy Knight which one applies first? Both of them activate at damage step

Example: I have a special summoned Red Eyes and my opponent attacks with Heavy Knight (Effect monster), I activate Super Rush Headlong at battle step

I think Heavy Knight wins, you have to activate super rush before heavy knight's effect is activated I don't think you can activate super rush in response to HK's effect
