How does the game calculate Tribute Summons?

I'm trying to get Mako and i need however many Tribute Summons for him, and when I first checked I had 104 tribute summons.
Then after I did the mission on stage 29 that requires you to tribute summon 20 times in 2 duels, I went back to check the counter and it said I did 107 tribute summons, what do I do?

Logout then log back in. It worked for me when I had the same problem. Sometimes it just needs to refresh with the servers.
