Twister problem

There're some points I can't activate my Twister by chaining it, although no cards restrict it's activation and my life points are higher than 500. After the chain resolves, I can activate it normally (as a first card activated, not by chaining), anybody can help?

Turn self chain on if you want to chain it with your own spells

perhaps you are trying to chain it to a Counter Trap, which is a higher Spell Speed and cannot be chained with anything except another Counter Trap.
