I agree completely, I stopped caring about Ranked after 1 KoG, considering you don't get much else other than gems and bragging rights.

Not only it's harsh, but it's also nerve-wracking having to win 5 times in a row when you're close to kog, you always start to get nervous and make mistakes in situation where you generally wouldn't, definitely needs some big change.
