This keeps happening to me too when I really needed it to work! Not all the time but every once in a while and it really screws me!

It happens to me too. It can only be a bug. I made a bug report to konami and it would help a lot if everybody do it too.

I laid trap jammer 1st turn. 3rd turn i attacked my opponent and he activated iron wall, i had the option to activate my iron wall but not my trap jammer

I've heard some people saying it doesn't work as well, but it could be lack of understanding of how things work. Traps in general only works the next turn after you set it down, so it doesn't work immediately. Also, trap jammer works ONLY during battle phase, and metalmorph can be activated during main phase. If you are sure that it was under these conditions, then you can send a bug report to konami.
