How to fix unable to write file no. 3 issue

When the new update dropped I tried to download and it gave me error failure to write file no.3 then promos back to home page. I've tried clearing app, also deleting app and redownlading but didn't work. How can I fix this?

i deleted the game folder, uninstalled, etc.. NOT WORKED!!! Going to uninstall steam app to see.. it's just an advice from, gods: "Stop playing this shhhh.."

Try deleting the app and reinstalling it. That worked for me.
