Skull Meister vs SSS Fuma

Hi everyone,
just wondering why I don't get to respond with Skull Meister whenever the effect of Fuma gets activated in my opponent's grave. could it be a bug?

Fuma doesn't activate, it's a continuous effect. Skull Meister only stops effects that activate.

If not mistaken.

Skull Meister cannot activate its effect during damage step like most other cards.

If Fuma is destroyed by battle (AKA during damage step), then you don't get to use Skull's effect.

If Fuma is destroyed perhaps by card effect (outside damage step), example, offerings, TTH etc., then you should be able to use Skull's effect

It's not a bug. It's kind of confusing, but skull meister says when an effect ACTIVATES. SSS fuma effect is being USED not ACTIVATED, so skull meister doesnt work

Fuma's effect is triggered automatically when a Six Samurai card would be destroyed. I think there is a timing problem here that makes Skull Meister effect miss his timing.
