i have grasschoper already normal summoned and face up on the field, but the next turn i cant normal summon it to have an effect, i done it once when it at defence position, but is it a must?

usually it's tap the monster again and press normal summon or activate effect, the next turn after you summon it and haven't normal summoned any other monster.
