Why can U.A still activate traps against ancient gears
So despite the wording that card effects couldn’t be activated until the end of the damage step on ancient gear reactor dragon, U.A penalty box still banished my monster... why

Continuous Spells, Traps and Monster Effects still activate when Ancient Gear monsters attack.

Spell/Trap Cards (the cards themselves) can not be activated, but their effects can be activated.
