In Duel Links this card seems to not activate against opponent's Cosmic Cyclone despite activation condition have been met (CC is a spell card, and I have a spell card on hand). Am I missing something here?

This cosmic cyclone was purchased with money. Thus improving its activation priority.

Since you are not able to obtain Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell with money its activation priority will always be lower than Cosmic Cyclone.

Nothing else chained to CC, that's why I'm confused.

Also @ other anon, I might post replay another time. Didn't save it this time. Though I noticed it happened regardless opponents activating CC from hand, or from their field (set).
